Attorneys seek release of alleged Bush assassination plotter

[JURIST] Attorneys for Ahmed Omar Abu Ali claim that he should be released from jail pending trial on charges that he plotted to assassinate President Bush and aided the Al-Qaeda terror network because Abu Ali lacks a criminal record and he has battled to return to the US since his arrest in Saudi Arabia two years ago. Prosecutors claim that Abu Ali poses a grave danger to the US, and state that he should remain incarcerated until his trial.
