News[JURIST] Conservative leader Michael Howard has said he has accepted a compromise offer by UK Prime Minister Tony Blair that would likely push through contentious anti-terror legislation that had the Commons and Lords locked in back-and-forth debate [JURIST report] Thursday night through Friday morning. Under the offer, Blair promised to allow the Commons to review the Prevention of Terrorism Bill [text] in a year, which Howard called a "sunset clause in all but name."
