Saddam requests meeting with former US Attorney General

[JURIST] According to a statement made by his defense team Monday, Saddam Hussein has requested a meeting with former US attorney general Ramsey Clark [Wikipedia profile]. The request, not yet answered by the Iraqi Special Tribunal [JURIST news archive], expresses concern that Saddam does not have full access to his counsel and comes less than one week after a video was released showing Saddam questioning a tribunal judge [JURIST report] about limited contact with his lawyers.
