Top Israel general ‘disappointed’ over use of cluster bombs in Lebanon campaign

[JURIST] Israel Defense Forces [official website] Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dan Halutz [official profile] Monday expressed disappointment about Israel's use of cluster bombs [FAS backgrounder] during the recent Middle East conflict [JURIST news archive] and ordered an investigation into how the order to use the munitions was given.
